Morocco, The World's Largest Solar Power Station Put Into Used

According to local media reports, the global planning installed machine capacity of the largest solar power station, Morocco Ouarzazate Noor solar power station the first phase of the project on the 4th in Ouarzazate officially put into use, the second and the third phase of the project on the same day to be started construct. The station, the first phase of the project is located in the southeastern desert, covers an area of 480 hectares, investment of about 7 billion euros, installed capacity of 160 MW. According to the plan, the second and the third phase of the project respectively covers an area of 680 hectares and 750 hectares, is expected to invest 8.1 billion euros and 6.45 billion euros, the installed capacity of 200 MW and 150 MW.




The fourth phase project to be installed which capacity are 70 MW will be completed and put into operation, the total installed capacity of Nur Val Zaza Te solar power station will reach 580 megawatts, will become the world's largest installed capacity of solar power generator system station.

Ali Fassi Fihri, Morocco, president of the national electricity and water companies said at the same day, from 2016 to 2030, the friction will invest about 280 million euros in the development of solar, wind and hydropower projects, these new renewable energy projects installed total capacity for 10 000 MW.
