Metro Launched the First Distributed Solar Power Plants In China

Recently， Metro China announced the official launch of distributed solar power plants in Shanghai Putuo shopping malls.

It is reported that the distributed solar power system by "spontaneous use” of the model for shopping malls in the energy supply ，which is expected to average annual power generation capacity are 37 million degrees, accounted for about 20% of the shopping centers total electricity. This is Metro Group the world's second, Asia's first solar power project, Putuo mall has become one of China the first use of solar power generation super. Earlier, in 2008 the Metro had a store implementation of the solar project in Dusseldorf, Germany.

As the Metro's self-built store, Putuo mall on the roof of the mall laying 2800 block assembly, the total area are 2630.6 square meters, installed capacity for 350 kW. The solar power plant project can continue to generate electricity for more than 20 years, total of up to 909 tons of carbon emissions can be reduced. Putuo mall is still at the entrance set an electronic screen, real-time display solar panels generating capacity.
