Off-grid solar generator systems are made of solar cell panels, battery , controller and inverter etc. But two most important parts are solar cell panels and inverter. They are interworked together to decide all systems’ function directly what kinds of electric appliance can be loaded. So, when descript the capacity of off-grid solar generator systems, that is according to the solar panels and inverter’s rated output capacity. While you are choosing and purchasing off grid system, must composite these two factors.


The capacity of solar cells is the total wattage of solar panels , it decide that solar generator systems can generate how much electric .For example , 300W solar cell panels, it can be one pieces of 300W panel, also two pieces of 150W panels, that representative under the standard lighting conditions one hour can generate 300WH electronic ( equip to 0.3 degree), which also means 300W solar power systems generate electronic per hour.

The rated of inverter output capacity is the Maximum power which can be output, on behalf of the power to drive a certain electrical. For example, a inverter which rated output power is 1000W, drive the electric appliance power must be less than 1000W. in generally, the electric appliance power can not more than 80% rated power of inverter. If the driven electrical appliances are inductive appliances which instantaneous power are more than  rated power several times , such as electromotor, refrigerator, air-conditioner and washing machine etc, the inverter’rated power must be more than electronic appliance’s about 5-8 times. Therefore, a solar generator kit with 1000W inverter, the driven electronic appliance power must be less 1000W.That is why the home solar power generator system need to pay attention to the type of appliance.

For the set of off-grid solar generator systems capacity, we usually means solar cells panels capacity, sometimes also means the rated output capacity of inverter. A set is equipped with 200W solar panels and 500W inverter power generators, which often called 200W solar power system, or 500W off grid solar system. Can the solar power generator system be sustained if there is no government support ?

Recent years home solar power generator system have been
an unprecedented development in many countries, a big reason is benefited from various forms supporting of government subsidy policy. 

For example, the United States is to install rooftop solar         power systems users for directing subsidies costs.  While in many other countries to implement on-grid repurchases policy,which is national to acquire scattered electricity generated by the solar power generation system, this is also equal to           subsidize the cost of installation. Whereas , as all known        policy is stage.  If there is no government policy support,
household solar power  system can be sustained?? Which had caused industry concerns.



Australia is a country with much land and few people, to develop the rooftop solar photovoltaic power generation market will be more meaningful. Although the country's solar power generation applications started relatively late, the solar power installed capacity have reach 785MW by 2011. which are mostly used in residential and commercial buildings. It has become the largest market for solar roof installation in the world. 

In order to accelerate the development of solar energy, Australia solar energy industry also hope the government can give policy and financial support. However, the result is more frustrating, the Australian federal government announced in November 16th, will end the house top solar panels in January, 2013. The subsidy plan ahead of schedule for 6 months, in any case that makes the whole industry more worried.

   

Now we have to face such a problem, after a series of government subsidy policy, is there any feasible way to promote the development of solar photovoltaic power generation??  Without the government support, solar power system requirements can be continued? It needs more time to prove.

 So far , individual solar power generation system  still does not have the cost advantage. But with the solar energy utilization technology continuous development and progress, will also promote the solar energy utilization.
