Small But Mighty Great Solar Security Lights For Outdoor

Good value light that doesn't need full sunlight to power the bright LED's.It also has an on/off switch on the front of the device rather than the back like many solar security lights. Some may prefer the switch on the back as it does make it more difficult for anyone who's intruding on your property to switch it off and move around unnoticed. However, as I have many of these lights around my property and out buildings I wanted one in my courtyard that I could switch off easily when I want to sit by the light of the fire pit or candles.

 
These are great to have dotted about to light up drive ways and dark areas of your property especially in areas where it may be difficult to gain access to electricity.It has so far resisted all weather conditions and I have it placed in a very exposed area. It seems well made and robust and the charge lasts all night on sensor mode.

Packaging

Comes in a standard cardboard box with VICKMALL branding, the light itself is in a plastic wrap inside the box, so not much to write about the packaging per se – standard stuff that you would associate with a product like this, I’d say.



Fixing

Its quite easy to fix – takes a couple of screws (which of-course come with the box itself). I put mine in the balcony of our flat, took me a grand total of 5 minutes to sort it out.

 
Build Quality

The build quality is quite sturdy and gives the feel of a good product.


Modes

It has a number of modes, which can be adjusted from the back of the light – so take a look at the instruction pamphlet provided to decide which one you want to put it in before fixing it – as otherwise you would need to unscrew it and then change it and put it back again – which could be a bit of a hassle. There is motion sensor, light sensor so that it doesn’t switch on when not needed and the light output varies based on the darkness outside.

 
Ergonomics

The triangular shape makes a lot of sense with the solar panel on the top and sensor on the bottom. The motion detector is super responsive which means the moment I step outside in the balcony during the evenings it lights up.

 
Overall verdict

It’s a good product, the only minor complaint I have is for the London weather, where sun is an absolute luxury – the charge diminishes quite quickly and then when it does turn on during the dark times it tends to not be super bright sometimes.I purchased that solar security light from VICKMALL

I like the white light of the LED's of this light as most of the solar lights that I have of these type are the warm yellow light but again that's down to personal preference and whether you want a daylight type of light or a cosier glow of the yellow.

Great Solar Light - Well Made and Good Value for Money

This Solar light will power off when battery is charging by sunlight, and power on automatically at night, which you can decide what's the most suitable mode for various conditions. The build quality is solid, everything seems very rigid and robust. Installation of this was very simple, I didn't plan on drilling holes into my brickwork so I didn't use the supplied screws or plugs. My intended position for this was on my fencing next to my patio which is around 5 foot high, so it's a reasonable height for it to trigger /shine on to my patio area. Installation was simple as it screwed on to the fence easily using a shorter screw than supplied.


This LED model features a sensor range, it turns on when I open my patio door, which is roughly around 3 met, so all works well. The light it produces is a bright white in colour which is in line with the advertised brightness of 400lm.


How long it actually lasts is anyone's call, I will update if I run into any issues. Though for a maintenance free light source, I think these solar lights are a good solution although you'd need a few of them for decent lighting. It's weather sealed so in theory should last a long time, as long as there's some sort of sunlight.



Summing Up, This is an impressive LED solar light for outdoor; it’s smaller than others I have seen out and about. But don’t let its size fool you; the light quality is excellent and far surpasses expectations. The unit is very easy to fit, all that is required is to drill two holes for the screws and plugs. I also like the shape of this unit being mainly triangular, with the solar panel uppermost and the sensor below. I would highly recommend it to everyone. 

Beef Up Your Home Security - Solar LED Security Light

I have several outdoor LED solar lights for our large garden and can always use more. I have this LED solar motion light installed on the side of our shed so that we can see if we need to get tools or anything from it at night and to use outside the front of our house to light up the driveway when we go out to our cars.

It arrived in its own brown box and was bubble-wrapped for protection during transit. Instructions were included which were easy to read and fixings were also included.














It is waterproof, heatproof and durable so should last a good amount of time.

It charges during the day from the sun and then lights up at night so no electricity needed which is a great perk.

There is a dim light mode so will light up and then when you are within a 2 metre range to turns to a bright light so ideal when out in garden. After 1 day of charge from the sun it will give over 12 hours of lighting time.

It has two screw holes at the top to fit to a wall which makes it more secure when fitting, however my husband fixed it to our wall but it does not sit flat against the wall, so he needs to take it off and drill it directly into the brick so it fits flat.

Overall a very good solar light unit which is among the best I have bought, great battery life and nice and bright illumination without being overpowering. It has also faired heavy rain without issue and is unnafected. 


I love the idea of this light and it does what it says so would recommend to anyone that needs light, as not only does it provide light for access it also acts as a security light.

This LED solar powered motion sensor light is truly amazing for its size. I had been looking for a security light for my backyard because I live in a big city and people climb my fence and go in my backyard at night. This light has a continuous soft light, and when someone approaches it at even eighteen feet away it comes on to a super bright light, that lets intruders know we are watching the area! It definately stops them in their tracks, and the light stays on until they leave the area. It charges very quickly after the initial charging and stays charged without sun for almost 12 hours. make sure to attach it where it gets the most sun, for best results. It even comes with screws and anchors to hang it almost anywhere. it is waterproof,shockproof and dust and corrosion proof. You could not ask for more in a motion sensor light.

Motion-Sensored Solar Light

We wanted a motion-sensored Solar light to place near our front door because there isn't much light in the front of our home. ViICKMALL solar light could be easily installed with best price and works during power outages.

This light comes with a small, straight pin to activate the light, as well as a screw to install. Before use the light, you must insert the pin into the tiny hole beside the power symbol. Only push the button ONCE! You will hear a tiny click. I pushed it twice, causing the unit to go into power save mode. Then, it would not work even after it was charged. It must charge in full sunlight for at least 7 hours. After I charged the light, I decided to run through the instructions again and was nearly blinded when the light turned on! This little light shines better than any flashlight I own.

The solar power light is motion-activated and is very sensitive. There is no power switch, so it is not a light that can be used as a continuous light source. It will only turn on when it is detected motion in the dark.

Overall, this is a great little light that I would highly recommend to anyone who needs only night-time motion activated lighting.

Note:
● For the first time use, Please charge the solar product by placing it under direct sunlight for more 8 hours before using.
● If the battery is exhausted, the light will be flashing, please recharge before normal use.

Solar Light Waiting for Returning Home

This motion sensor solar light works great and waiting for you return home at night.  Which solar panel charges up the battery during the day. Once it gets dark the sensor puts off a minor glow, just enough for you to know that it is on. However, once there is movement anywhere near it, the light gets brighter. You can see all the way down the driveway and to the front porch without needing the porch light on. I may have to get a second one for my patio. It was also very easy to install.

 One customer said that : I found the perfect place and preceded to where my trash can are located. I chose this spot due to my wife always wanting a light there. She was worried about snakes and in Florida we do have a few poisonous ones. With the light situated here she can check the ground for any critters. The light showed up and was extremely bright with 20 LED’s shining. Installation is simple with 4 screws and screw anchors. I chose not to anchor it in this fashion and I went with 3 full strips of double sided sticky tape. I do recommend  to add this option in the box. There are 3 settings and they are as follows:

1. High light mode (light stays on bright for 4-6 hours or until battery dies)
2. Dim light mode (stays dim at night and brightens up with motion sensing)
3. Sensor mode (basically high bright light when it senses movement only)
The motion sensor stays on for apx 15 seconds. So far its working perfectly.

Very simple to install, great light! I put it on corner of house for security reasons. It is nice durable type plastic so if it falls it will not break. The dog next door also is alerted to it when it goes off so that is another plus for this light. It has a silver chrome color to it also. Besides, There is instructions included if you need any extra help. The LED solar light is very small so if you want something discreet to hide in a nook it would work so if someone walks by it will go off and scare off could-be boogie men.Over all this is a wonderful light that serves many purposes.
